ARTS San Antonio is proud to present, the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra of the Canary Islands, performing La Zarzuela and other classical piecesin an evening of musical resplendence at American Bank Center Selena Auditorium.
On an exclusive four-city tour of Texas, the world-renown Tenerife Symphony Orchestra will be in Corpus Christi, for a one night engagement under the artistic direction of acclaimed conductor, Edmon Colomer. Soprano, Raquel Lojendio and the orchestra of 78 will delight audiences with the Spanish form of lite opera, La Zarzuela by noted composers, Fernando Chueca, Jose Serrano, Ruperto Chapi, Federico Chueca and Pablo Luna. The orchestra will also perform pieces by noted composers Enrique Granados, Manuel de la Falla, Nikolai Rimski-Korsakov and Jeronimo Gimenez. The Texas exclusive will include shows in Houston, Ft. Worth and San Antonio.
